Kutner is proficient in all major web programming languages and significant number of development tools, databases, and middleware. His skills and knowledge provide the backbone behind Magento's architectural development. At Varien, Kutner has managed more than a hundred database-driven projects, which collectively give him uncanny insights into the full view of web application development. He has an extensive understanding of technological processes, application life cycle, and web architecture. Prior to his work on Magento, Kutner served with the Israel Defense Forces, working in the organization's information technology teams. He attended UCLA where he received a B.S. in computer science.
