Giving Up Isn't An Option - Jun 19,2009 Updated: 2009-06-19 00:30:00 Description: When God created man the primary reason was to praise and worship Him. The way we’re to do that is through our unique gifts and talents that He gave each of us. He promised us along with those gifts a life full of wealth and riches as well. The devil once had the same opportunity but because He decided to try and put himself above God he lost his opportunity to enjoy the riches of our Heavenly Father. There’s a saying that says, “Misery loves company.” The devil figures if he can’t enjoy the blessing of God then neither should you or me. Satan’s desire is to get our attention and focus off of what God’s word has spoken and promised for our lives and cause us to focus primarily on our problems. The devil will use whatever he could to try and distract us from God’s word and cause us to feel defeated. However if we stay focus on God’s word it's during those times that God will show up and show out.
