The House has the constitutional authority to spend money and set taxes, but House Reps wont do it because theyre DC insiders. The big problem? House leadership is not revolutionary and not part of the tea party. (Remember when Bachmann tried to run for leadership and the estblishment RINOs gave her the finger?) Speaker Boehner has gone NAZI on the tea party caucus, telling them theyve got to get their asses in line. The WH strategy has worked: sit back, do nothing, and watch the Republican party fight among themselves. They should have been sincere with Cap, Cut and Balance, and when the Senate rejected it, sent another version over with even deeper cuts. Theyre petrified of being portrayed in the news meda like Newt was in 1995. and now youve got people like Clyburn who urge Obama to invoke the 14th amndt. If he does, there might be violence. And maybe thats what they want to put down the tea party revolution once and for all. The Washington establishment thinks the tea party are the lunatics.
