ep#26-HORIZONS-Cronkite SpaceShip Earth Meanderings Updated: 2006-07-10 18:05:00 Description: **SERIOUSLY-Headphones HIGHLY Suggested** Join me for a different sort of show as I provide some personal meanderings, musings, and memories of what EPCOT used to be all about. First, I'll provide a brief history of my all time favorite Disney attraction: Horizons. I'll present some interesting details about the attraction along with some RARE audio. To end the Horizons portion of the show, I will play one of the most fascinating pieces of audio I've ever heard dealing with Horizons...a mixdown of source audio which presents a completely accurate ride through of the attraction. Last, we will take a look back on the last remaining great dark ride at EPCOT: Spaceship Earth. We will take a ride thru of the attraction in it's golden days featuring audio narration by Walter Cronkite. I've been waiting a LONG TIME to do a HORIZONS based show as the memory of that attraction is one of the best Disney Park attraction memories I have from my childhood days spent in the parks.
